About Frith Farm Dried Herbs
Archie Casson purchased the farm in 1956. Having grown various tropical varieties of herbs abroad. He was approached by an old contact of his father’s to start to grow herbs for the flavour and fragrance industry here in the UK.
From the mid 70’s the businesses have been grown by his son, Jim Casson. Jim has not only grown the herbs, but modified various machines to improve harvesting and the processing of herbs for the finished leaf.
The majority of herbs are grown and processed in house to a high quality finished ingredient, ready to use by our customers.
Now with help of his son-in-law Peter Harding and daughter Charlotte Harding, the business is specialising in high quality English grown herbs for the culinary, tea, fragrance and pharmaceutical markets.
